Is time travel possible?

Is time travel possible?
If so why have we not seen time travellers from the future?
I think I have the answers to these questions. It may not be the answers people are looking for and that is OK because this is only my own thoughts and theories of time travel. I have no way of proving or disproving what I am about to tell you therefore it is all hypotheses and or conjecture.

I believe that time travel will be possible but not as of yet.
The reason we have not seen time travelers from the future is that they cannot travel back through time to our time.

But did I not just say time travel would be possible? So how could it be impossible for time travelers to travel back to your time?

First we must ask how easy it would be to travel in time.
Can we travel in time?

Information travels all around the world instantly in today’s electronic age. So why can't we?
To travel in time we need to move at the speed of light and as
of now we cannot.

Come the day that we will be able to do this we will be able to travel into the future and back to the time that we were able to first Abel to travel in time.

I believe that we cannot travel back in time if time travel was not possible in the time that we want to go to. It is a little like the Grandfather paradox. To go back in time and kill your grandfather before your parents were conceived would mean that you would have never been born making it impossible for you to travel back in time and kill your grandfather which means that you would be born and Abel to travel back in time to kill your own grandfather but if you do you would have never been born making it impossible for you to travel back in time and kill your grandfather. Can you see the problem?
OK, look at the empire state building, if you want to go to the top floor that floor would need to be their first. To go to that floor before it is built is something we can't do. So to travel to a time that time travel was not possible would be impossible. Time itself would not allow it.
A side note to time travel.
When we look at things in deep space we are looking back in time. It breaks down like this, light moves at 186,000 miles/second 60 seconds/minute 60 minutes/hour 24 hours/day
365 days/year = 5,865,696,000,000 miles/year. A light year is 5,865,696,000,000 miles (9,460,800,000,000 kilometers). That's a long way! Now most things we see in deep space are hundreds of thousands and even billions and yes trillions of light years away. So what we are seeing is what was and not what is. We are looking into the past.
